Analytics & Usage Monitoring
Track your API usage and monitor which APIs you're using most with APIVerve's analytics dashboard. Get clear insights into your credit consumption and API usage patterns over the last 30 days.
The Analytics dashboard provides a straightforward view of your API usage, helping you understand your consumption patterns and identify your most-used APIs. This data helps you optimize your integration and plan for future usage.
Access Analytics from your dashboard sidebar. The analytics page shows your usage data for the last 30 days by default.
What You'll See
The analytics dashboard shows you two main things about your API usage over the last 30 days:
Credit Usage Overview
Track how many credits you've consumed and when you used them most:
- Daily Credit Usage: See how many credits you consumed each day over the past 30 days
- Total Consumption: Your total credit usage for the current period
- Usage Trends: Visual charts showing your consumption patterns and peak usage times
- Plan Progress: How much of your monthly credit allowance you've used
This data helps you understand your usage patterns, identify busy periods, and plan for future credit needs. You can see if your usage is consistent or has specific peaks that might influence your plan selection.
Top APIs Used
Discover which APIs you're using most frequently in your applications:
- Most Called APIs: A ranked list of your most frequently used API endpoints
- Credit Distribution: How your credit consumption breaks down across different APIs
- Usage Frequency: How often you call each API compared to others
Understanding which APIs you use most helps you optimize your integration, focus on the APIs that matter most to your application, and identify opportunities to reduce credit consumption through caching or alternative approaches.
Data Refresh
Your analytics data is updated regularly throughout the day to give you current insights into your API usage. The dashboard shows your most recent 30 days of activity, automatically updating as new data becomes available.
Use this data to understand your API consumption patterns and make informed decisions about your usage. If you notice high credit consumption, consider implementing caching for frequently requested data. If certain APIs dominate your usage, focus optimization efforts on those endpoints first.
Simple and Clear
The analytics dashboard focuses on providing you with the most important information about your API usage in a clear, easy-to-understand format. No complex reports or overwhelming data - just the essential metrics you need to understand and optimize your API integration.
The visualizations are designed to be intuitive, showing your usage trends through simple charts and highlighting your top APIs in an easy-to-scan list. This gives you quick insights without needing to analyze complex data sets.
Next Steps
Make the most of your analytics data:
- Review your current plan based on your usage patterns
- Monitor your API key usage and security
- Understand rate limits and how they affect your usage
- Optimize your API requests to reduce credit consumption
